Racing again

Except for a few days off with achilles troubles mid month, training has been going well. Logged 180k, two solid workouts, and a 2h long run last week. With a race planed for Saturday I'll dip in mileage a bit this week, though workout volume will still be high. We did 4x10min tempo on Monday and 8x1k on the track is planned for later today.

The road race I'm doing this weekend, 8k Harry's Spring Run Off, is going to be streamed live at www.crstv.ca with Mihira Lakshman & Dave Reid doing the commentary, start time 10am EST. There's a few of us from Speed River racing and getting interview at 9am before warm-up, check it out!

Speed River's newest member

Here are a few pictures of Speed River's newest addition. Heidi Grace Gillis, born March 4, 2010 weighing 5lbs 15oz. She is a healthy and happy baby and has already been outfitted with her first pair of running shoes courtesy of New Balance and Dave Korell.
