NEW footage of me in Toronto
Nice, that felt better then I expected! Finished the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon in 2:12:08 for 11th place. I split half in 65:56, right on goal pace. 20-30k felt really good, next 5k was rolling through the Beaches, ran a few slow 3:12-15 k's (2:12=3:07/k). May have let off the gas a little too much because I had lots left the final few kilometers. Overall no regrets with my pacing, chose it before hand and went out there and executed just like in Houston. I'll enjoy this for a week or two and then set my sights on taking another good chunk of time off my PB
Dealt with some extra adversary in the build-up for this one, special thanks to Brenda Scott-Thomas, Doug Chase, Marcell Meresz, Kim Dawson, Fred Rayner , Dr Mountjoy, Laura Moulton, and Ron O'Hare who, together, played a HUGE part in getting me to the starting line healthy, confident, and free wheeling!

"I kept looking at my watch and making calculations in my head to figure out what I needed to. That extra 200m over 42km makes these calculations a bitch during a marathon."

Since you included my footage of you near the finish line, I thought you'd want to know, I got some spare time and extracted segments where you appear from the footage I captured and compiled it into one video.
