Ah it sure does feel nice to run in shorts and tees again! We arrived in sunny Alabama over a week ago after a long drive. The trip down saw us get held up at the border, slowed in snowy traffic, and make one wrong turn that had us driving the back roads of Pennsylvania for hours, made it in one piece thought.
We did a track workout yesterday at Auburn's University's nice new outdoor facility. The session was 6x1600m, I split 4:25-24-23-24-22-20. Taylor, Rob, and I worked together trading off 800m leads which split up the work nicely. I'm pleased with how consistent the effort felt, second half especially as they seemed to get easier. We're all putting in a lot of mileage down here which can make the legs feel sluggish early on in a workout.
Our plan is to stay for another 10 days and then head back to Guelph. I'll see about getting some photos of our stay up soon.
