10000m

First off thanks to EVERYONE for your AMAZING support! Haven't been that good at responding but I loved hearing from you all.

As for how the race went, it was both awesome and terrible. My spirits were high heading in with great training under my belt and confidence I could run a personal best. The first half I felt better then I ever dare dream. Then for whatever reason a slight injection of pace within my pack at 5k put me in a zone I couldn't handle. Once the pack left me it was like an elephant jumped on my back and down hill it went.

Running poorly on such a huge stage sucks no way around it. I've got two choices now I figure, take this experience and learn from it to become a better runner or not. You'll have to keep following my running to see which it is.

ERIC!!! IT WAS SO AWESOME WATCHING YOU TODAY, The CBC had great shots of you walking into the race and talked about your journey to get there! I am in the Nish and I am loving all the posters around town! Can't wait to celebrate with you when you get home!
Take care!
