Wow what a great weekend! Hosting was a treat and a ton of work for a lot of people, thanks everyone! I wanted to win bad and to be that close is bitter sweet. I made a move at the bottom of the fishing hill but Reid hung tight and responded with an even better surge half way up. Figured my only chance then was to give it all I had at the top. Eyes narrowing to the finishing tap, crowd wizing by, a quick calculation confirmed the finish was closer then I imagined and then it was over. Silver is better then I've every done at Nationals and with it being back in Guelph next year I'll have another chance at gold then.
